CLEAR LIGHT (ClearLight) ACNE TREATMENT SYSTEM

What is the Clearlight system?
The Clear Light system is a therapeutic light that treats moderate inflammatory acne. ClearLight uses Acne PhotoClearing (APC) technology to help destroy the most common bacteria that causes acne.

How effective is Clear Light?
Clear Light can help clear most moderate inflammatory acne in four weeks.

Is it Clear Light safe? Are there any side effects?
Clear Light is one of the safest acne treatments available. Its APC technology uses light that is UV-safe. With ClearLight there are no known side effects. Traditional acne treatments may have a variety of side effects. Topical therapies like creams and lotions often cause redness, irritation, and/or peeling. Oral therapies, like antibiotics, may have other side effects. Both may require at least 3 months of continuous treatment; conditions can often become worse before they improve, and scarring remains an issue.

Who can be treated by ClearLight?
Almost anyone. ClearLight can be effective on moderate inflammatory acne. Pregnant women and people with photosensitivity should consult with their physician. Since most
people can benefit from treatment, talk to your doctor about ClearLight. Results may vary.

What You Can Expect?
How Clearlight works… ClearLight’s APC technology can destroy P. acnes bacteria safely and effectively within the skin.

Before
APC technology uses high-intensity, 405-420nm wavelength light that permeates the tissue to
reach the P. acnes target.

During
This spectrum of high-intensity light triggers the proliferation of endogenic porphyrins, which attack
and can destroy P. acnes bacteria within the skin.

After
ClearLight creates a destruction rate that can surpass the normal proliferation rate of the P. acnes
bacteria, which can cause a decrease in P. acnes bacteria.

What happens during Clearlight treatment? Does it hurt?
With ClearLight, a typical treatment session takes only 15 minutes. You may lie down while the therapeutic light is applied; sometimes there is a slight warm sensation. ClearLight treatments have been described as “easy, even relaxing” by some. Patients often listen to music while being treated.

How many treatments are required?
Your doctor can tell you if this treatment plan is right for you. It can involve a series of ClearLight treatment sessions, typically twice a week for 4 weeks. It is important to keep the treatment appointments recommended by your doctor. By following the treatment plan, you may see maximum results and can enjoy clearer skin with ClearLight. Result may vary.
